Hipster-rific!

So I was talking to my little sister last night about when wearing an oversized sweater is and is not appropriate. I convinced her that going on a dinner date with her sometimes boyfriend warranted something a little sexier than an overly large sweater lol...I think a day of studying at the library and roaming around the heights with my boyfriend was appropriate for the oversized sweater though. Come Monday, though, you can find me in short shorts and a fedora. Spring Break '13, Vegas Baby!!! As always thanks for reading :)

The only menu items my boyfriend can cook: spaghetti, steak, and eggs.. Lucky for me last night he made amazing steak with a  blue cheese topping! Yum!

14 Days of Love Contd..

So I did previous post at the beginning of February on the 14 days of Love that my wonderful future hubby initiated. Instead of doing a new post on every gift, I decided to wait until after Valentine's day and do one post showing all the amazing gifts he showered me with. Days 11-14: All came on day 14 which was Valentine's Day. A beautiful and very thoughtful  V-day card( he even signed it "your hubby"), A lovely bottle of Rose by Moet, A gorgeous bouquet of roses with a custom vase with our picture on it, some very sexy little things from Victoria's Secret, An amazing Valentine's Night Dinner at Ciano NYC (check it out here), and A romantic stay at the Millenium Hilton Hotel ( check rates here).

I also love the idea of a cookie bouquet. They are inexpensive but a ton of fun to create. All you need is a good boxed or packaged cookie mix or recipe, icing, sprinkles, tissue paper, ribbon, and a small container or basket to arrange them in. DIY Gift Baskets

Gift baskets are always special, but they can get pretty pricey around a specific holiday and depending on where you buy them from. Why not try putting together your own this year. The best thing about doing it yourself, is that you control the price range and that you control what goes into the basket.
